Three basic facts about luxury vinyl flooring

Three basic facts about luxury vinyl flooring

There's a reason why luxury vinyl flooring is such a hot trend these days. It offers unbelievably high value per decorating dollar.

This affordable yet premium product provides style and many functional properties.

Style so realistic that many can't tell the difference

Knots, grains, swirls, textures, and color/veining variations– that's what you'll see with luxury vinyl's wood, stone, and tile designs. You'll also see floors with depth and dimension with no flat images of decades past.

Rather than sheets, luxury vinyl flooring comes cut in planks or square-tiled pieces. We're told the extra seams add to the realism.

Luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP) mimics hardwood floorboards or stone slabs. Luxury vinyl tile flooring (LVT) is used mainly to look like stone or tile.

See for yourself. Our showroom carries luxury vinyl designs like Leighton by Mohawk, Tempo Stone Calacatta by Phenix–and many more!

Waterproof durability

Luxury vinyl flooring is 100% impervious to liquid, whether submerged or spilled on. Layered, this is also five times thicker than the original product.

Just over the printed design sheet is a transparent, strong wear layer. It protects the floor from scratches, scuffs, and dents.

A clear urethane finish is at the top of the LVT or LVP flooring. It adds even more strength and extra shine.

Easy Care

All it takes is regular sweeping and periodic mopping to keep your vinyl plank flooring looking great. Stains come off quickly, usually with a baking soda/water paste.
